Every week I come across an article or two that I find very helpful to me as a Baby Boomer and think may be of some interest to you, the community, as well.
They may be from an online news source, another Blog or Website or something I found surfing around the Internet. They could even be something that was sent in by a reader of the Blog or a member of the Baby Boomer’s Forum.
Enjoy!
Will baby boomers drive health IT? by Dana Blankenhorn… Even though a lot of the next generation think we’re computer illiterate, they may have cause to rethink how much we know about technology and how we can adapt it to our needs.
Baby boomers are reinventing the traditional funeral by Martha Bauman… As the old song goes, “things they are a-changing”, so goes they way we treat the the Grand Send-off. We had a traditional goodbye for both my parents a couple of years ago (within 13 weeks of each other). Me? I’m opting for a Viking Funeral… Boat, Fire, Launch, the whole nine yards (really, it’s in my will).
I hope you found this weeks choice(s) helpful and enjoyable. What did you think? Do you have any suggestions for next week?
