I headed out one night when they said on the news we could probably get a glimpse of them down here in Alberta, but I headed out with the kids going north but was unable to see anything, they have never seen it either so I am showing them your video. thanks! I first saw these light curtains 20 years ago in Ontario , Canada- magical!

Long ago when I was working on computers, I used to use photo-gray glasses. That was even before I needed reading glasses. They helped a lot. Thinking of getting another pair just for computer use.

Yes it’s the 11 year sunspot cycle. It is not often disruptive, but an increase in sunspot activity charges the ionospheric layers greatly enhancing high frequency (HF) and lower portions very high frequency (VHF) propagation world wide. We Amateur Radio Operators love it. So, enjoy it.

Michael, We Boomers face loads of challenges. Our vision is inevitably on the list because of the usual problems that come with aging, but also now we face all the technology overload, also. I have found eye drops to be very helpful. Thanks for the post.

Such a good list of points to consider. We went 8 years without a dog because of our work schedules, etc. but a year ago decided that with me semi-retired it was time again. I wanted a large dog but knew that was not a good match as we aged so we got a mini-poodle rescue and she has brought great joy to our lives. I like to think we also bring it to hers and she does act like that is true.
